Exterior view of the front of a post-secondary institution

I first chose college because I knew it would be more of a hands-on learning environment, which is how I learn best. I also chose college because of the smaller classroom sizes, and the ability to get to know my professors. I later decided to attend university, because I always wanted more of theoretical background to add to my hands-on experiences, and I felt like I was now ready to take on that learning challenge. Attending College first made me comfortable with how post-secondary works, and made it easier for me to transition to University.
