When I began researching potential universities, I took special interest in the Accessibility Services Office and the Financial Services Office on each campus and what they had to offer for students. It was important for me to feel comfortable, welcome and supported at the school I chose, and I found that speaking to an advisor from each of the campuses before making my decision was very beneficial.

It was also important for me to feel supported while I navigated the financial cost of post-secondary education. I wanted to attend a school that could guide me towards the proper scholarships and government programs available that would work the best for me. Speaking to the schools in advance and doing my research allowed me to make an informed choice about which school would best fit my needs and help me succeed.
